Go On Mission with Life2Romania in 2014

Every year we invite volunteers from both the UK and Romania to go on mission with Life2Romania.  Each Summer we take teams to the towns and villages to run holiday clubs and IMG_0590camps where the children can hear and  respond to the Gospel.  Churches are transformed as more families are invited into the family of God.  Volunteers are transformed as God works in and through them as they serve.

All UK volunteers are required to attend a training weekend in the UK, usually in June.  Additionally, where there are specific local needs volunteers will be required to attend an additional training day in Romania immediately prior to the holiday club week.

Each team consists of 6 or more volunteers from both the UK and Romania.  All volunteers must profess the  Christian faith.  We confirm suitability of applicants using personal references and the UK Disclosure and Barring Service.  There are places on every team for those with no experience of children’s work so please don’t let lack of experience deter you from applying to be a volunteer.

Holiday Club Volunteer Opportunities 2014
(*Dates are to be confirmed)

Holiday clubs benefit from having teams containing individuals with a range of skills and experience.  Some will have ability or willingness to lead music, craft or games whilst others are willing to help and support.  Prayer is essential and personal testimony is a powerful tool for conveying the reality of God in the world and these gifts are encouraged in our teams.

Some Holiday clubs have specific additional needs due to local conditions and these are indicated below.  Where an additional training day is required this is for  specific training required for the location and for the joint UK/Romanian team to rehearse elements of the programme to be delivered.
